Julia Kundert is a Charleston native with over 12 years of experience in Real Estate. She graduated in 2008 from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Real Estate Finance. With a passion for Real Estate and a love of Charleston, she moved home in 2009 to obtain her South Carolina Real Estate license. Though she began her career working in the Marketing Department for Handsome Properties, she eventually moved up to become the licensed Executive Assistant to the Broker-in-Charge, Deborah C. Fisher, and enjoyed that role for over 6 years.

As Debbie's Executive Assistant, she worked closely with Debbie and her clients to assist them in every aspect of buying or selling property in the Charleston area, from historic homes in downtown Charleston to equestrian land on Johns Island and everything in between. Today, Julia is a licensed Real Estate Sales Agent and REALTOR® with a diverse and unique perspective on Real Estate, seamlessly combining her finance and real estate marketing background with the vast knowledge of the historic Charleston market that she gained working directly for Debbie.

Though Charleston has always been her home, Julia has lived and traveled all over the United States, including 4 years in Los Angeles for college and a 2-year sabbatical in Chicago. She and her husband are now permanently settled here with two sons, born in October 2014 and January 2022, and their first child, a spunky dachshund/spaniel rescue.

Julia loves Design, Swimming, Photography, and being on, in, or near the water. She is a member of the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS®, the South Carolina Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. She also has designations through the National Association of REALTORS® as an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) and through the Real Estate Business Institute as a Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE).

"My favorite thing about Charleston is living by the ocean. I love to go out on the boat and my favorite spot is the sandbar next to the Morris Island Lighthouse. In the Summer I prop my feet up on the side of the boat with a slice of watermelon in one hand a cold beverage in the other, grateful to be living in paradise."
