The wait for one of the newest hot spots is finally over! Chasing Sage is a new restaurant that officially opened its doors to the public within the last couple of months. Due to Covid-19, their original open date was delayed by over a year, which led them to temporarily pivot to a rotating series of pop-ups in a takeout-only format. Chasing Sage is situated in the flourishing neighborhood of Cannonborough-Elliotborough, which is within walking distance of the heart of downtown Charleston.

Their menu is solely based on locally sourced ingredients from their family’s farm in Smoaks, South Carolina. Five acres of their farmland is dedicated to growing produce entirely for Chasing Sage. Chasing Sage strives to have genuinely authentic hospitality, fresh ingredients, and considerate cuisine.

The food is curated based on the current season, and the flavors are bright and fresh, with carefully sourced vegetables, meat, and seafood, which go along with a specially tailored beverage and cocktail list. All the dishes are small plates designed strategically to allow guests to optimize their taste while savoring every moment.
