The Handsome Properties team had the opportunity to stroll among the archives in The South Carolina Room located inside The Charleston Public Library. Guided by a team of historic preservationists, we viewed the collection of books, maps, article clipping, and their research database inclusive of more than 300 years of South Carolina history.
Their team is happy to help conduct further research on historic properties and has helped our agents gain better insight to honor these magnific homes. Their mission is clear, to collect, preserve and provide access to materials that focus on the history and genealogy of South Carolina, with special emphasis on Charleston and the Lowcountry.
