Another Charleston Restaurant Week is on the books for this September, the eleven-day culinary experience allows locals and visitors the opportunity to expand their palate while dining throughout the Lowcountry.

Each participating restaurant will offer a prix fixe menu for their guests, including a variety of options to choose from including full course meals. From the Peninsula to the beaches, we’ve selected a few spots to check out during Charleston Restaurant Week.

Downtown

The Tempest – a Must for Seafood Lovers

Located in Charleston’s Market Street district, The Tempest was once the Harriott Pinckney Home for Sailors. This upscale restaurant serves sustainable South Atlantic seafood offering raw and charcoal roasted options. A favorite menu item are the tiered seafood towers, choose from single, double or tripled.

West Ashley

Florence’s Lowcountry Kitchen – a Local Favorite

If you are searching for a southern home-cooked meal, this is the place. Offering specialty menus for brunch and dinner that will give you a true taste of the Lowcountry. Start your day with the brunch menu featuring items like pimento cheese or crispy chicken and your evening with a 3-course dinner menu complete with items like fried green tomatoes and banana pudding.

Mount Pleasant

Crave Kitchen and Cocktails – a Cocktail Destination

From handcrafted cocktails to their award-winning Mac and Cheese, Crave offers a unique variety to choose from whether you are dining in, at home, or having an event catered. The specialty menu for restaurant week will offer a 4-course menu with a choice of an appetizer, soup or salad, entree, and dessert.

Folly Beach

Blu Beach Bar and Grill – Elevated Dining on the Beach

Located within Tides Hotel on Folly Beach, this dining experience offers ocean views with indoor and outdoor options. Blu is featuring a custom 3-course menu with choices of sea, land, and dessert.

Pier 101 Restaurant and Bar – a Take on Casual Coastal Cuisine

After a two-year hiatus, Folly Beach’s well-known Pier 101 has reopened just in time to join in on Restaurant Week. Located only 10 miles away from downtown, you can enjoy ocean views, live music, and seafood all in one place.

Johns Island

48 Wine Bar & Kitchen – a Wine Lovers Dream

Offering 48 options of wine, local/craft beers, and menu items, this place has something for everyone. Owned by Kiawah Island residents, they use their local expertise and travel experience to create the perfect atmosphere.
