Fifth Annual Oyster Roast

It’s that time of year again with Handsome Properties for our 5th Annual Oyster Roast! Last Sunday we hosted our fifth Oyster Roast at Alhambra Hall in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant, in collaboration with local favorites Renaissance South Construction, The Local Palate, and Professional Movers of Charleston.

Set alongside the Charleston Harbor and on the banks of the Cooper River, we welcomed guests, clients, friends and family with treats from the local ice cream truck, a Bloody Mary Bar curated by Charleston Mix, and lowcountry boil and oysters by Jamie Westendorf. The evening kicked off with fresh, local steamed oysters and various pop-up bars located around the event site.

Guests enjoyed live music from local act Gritty Flyright all afternoon, with views of the marsh and downtown Charleston’s steepled skyline. We loved the opportunity to see and catch up with clients and family from all across the country and Charleston area. We also were greeted by many local residents from Hobcaw, Sullivan’s Island, I’On and Old Village—we loved getting to meet so many new faces from around the community. The afternoon wrapped up with our annual raffle where we gave away some Handsome Properties goodies in a brand new Yeti cooler.
