Handsome is on Meeting Street!

Handsome Properties has moved to 285 Meeting Street and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be here! With this change comes a brand new neighborhood to explore. Situated on the outskirts of the desirable Ansonborough neighborhood, our new location puts us right in the heart of downtown Charleston.

As the city’s growth expands north, we hope that our location will allow us to experience the best of all “Charleston” worlds (i.e. the historic district, King Street district, the upper peninsula area, etc.)

285 Meeting Street is just one block away from Marion Square, one of the city’s most popular parks. On Saturdays during the months of March through December, Marion Square is the setting for the city’s farmer’s market; a family friendly event offering a combination of local produce and goods for purchase, as well as breakfast stations like crepes and omelets.

The park is also used for annual events such as the South Easter Wildlife Exposition, which just came to Charleston this past weekend. We are located just a street away from many of King Street’s famed restaurants and shops (much to the delight of our office staff and agents.) The combination of our brand new, renovated, workspace and all of the perks our location makes us well-poised to have a productive and prosperous 2016.

The interior of 285 Meeting Street is simply stunning. Before entering the space, the glassed-in facade will allow you to get a sneak peak of the ambiance. The eye-catching indigo colored conference room is one of the first features you will notice. When opening the front doors of the space, you are greeted by the gorgeous de Gournay mural that extends almost the entire length of the reception area.

Beyond that lies the beautiful workspaces complete with exposed white-washed beams, private cubicles and glassed-in offices. Finally, the kitchen’s brilliant light fixtures and large, welcoming, table offers yet another meeting space to our welcomed guests.
