Handsome Properties Oyster Roast 2024

Last Sunday, February 25th, we gathered for our 6th annual Handsome Properties Oyster Roast at the picturesque Alhambra Hall in Mount Pleasant. From the beautiful weather to the culinary delights, it was truly special. We are grateful for all of our guests who made this an unforgettable event.

At the heart of the gathering was the talented chef Jamie Westendorff. Jamie and his team from Charleston Outdoor Catering prepared our delectable steamed oysters, a true Lowcountry delicacy. Jamie’s culinary expertise celebrates the rich flavors that define southern cuisine. The buffet line showcased plenty of southern fare, including a mouthwatering Lowcountry Boil.

A special shout out to the local Sunny Daze ice cream truck, sponsored by Southern Innovations, for satisfying our collective sweet tooth and adding a cool and delightful touch to the beautiful South Carolina day. In addition, guests enjoyed live music from Fo Daniels and his band, creating a lively and festive atmosphere that resonated throughout Alhambra Hall.

The energetic tunes added an extra layer of excitement to our celebration. Families enjoyed quality time at the kids’ table, where the little ones reveled in activities like the bubble machine, beach balls, hula hoops, coloring sheets, and cornhole. It truly was a great gathering for all ages!

In line with our commitment to our community, we hosted an adoption event in collaboration with Pet Helpers Charleston, contributing to the well-being of our furry friends. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to connect with and potentially adopt adorable pets. Furthermore, this partnership embodies our dedication to making a positive impact on both our human and animal community members.
