Spoleto Festival | May 23- June 8th

Charleston’s Spoleto Festival lasts for a full 17 days each spring. It is one of the USA’s major performing arts festivals. Additionally, the festival was founded by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Gian Carlo Menotti, Christopher Keene, and others who wanted to bring their version of the annual Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Italy, to America. Party at the Point Fridays

This family-friendly event lights up every Friday evening during the spring season. Now celebrating 25 years, Party at The Point holds the title as Charleston’s longest-running happy hour concert series. The festivities take place at the beachfront of Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, with doors opening at 5 PM and live music starting at 6 PM. Charleston’s Biggest Kentucky Derby Party at Islander 71 | May 3rd

Come on out to Islander 71 Fish House and Raw Bar to celebrate the Kentucky Derby in style. From 3 pm-9 pm, enjoy the afternoon with a massive 20-foot screen to watch the race, live DJ and MC, themed cocktails, and waterfront views. Additionally, there will be a contest for Best Dressed and Best Hat.

Beach Putt Tournament | May 24th

Start your Memorial Day weekend with some friendly competition at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms. The inaugural Beach Putt Tournament takes place on May 24th right in front of the Grand Pavilion and is free and open to the public.

Teams of two are invited to show off their putting skills on the sand for a chance to win exciting prizes. Not playing? Come out anyway to soak up the sun, cheer on the teams, and enjoy the festive beachside atmosphere.

Memorial Day at Patriots Point | May 26th

Join Patriots Point in celebrating Taps Across America this Memorial Day at 3 PM. This moment of remembrance occurs nationwide every Memorial Day and invites all citizens to pause for one minute while musicians across the country perform Taps to honor fallen service members.
