If you haven’t had a chance to visit
Felix Cocktails et Cuisine, it’s time to change that. Whether you’re in the mood for a full meal or just stopping in for drinks, this French-inspired spot in the heart of Charleston delivers every time.
History and Press
Felix is the creation of Félix Landrum, whose deep ties to French culture stem from his Parisian parents. He opened the restaurant in 2017 at 550 King Street in
Charleston, South Carolina. His goal was simple: to bring the warmth, elegance, and flavor of traditional French bistro culture to the Lowcountry, with a modern twist.
Over the years, Felix has garnered praise from both local and national publications, earning a reputation as one of Charleston’s go-to spots for French fare. The restaurant has been featured in notable outlets such as
Garden & Gun and
Condé Nast, celebrated for its sleek design, standout bar program, and consistently excellent cuisine.
Food and Drinks
The Parisian-inspired restaurant offers brunch, lunch, dinner, and a petit menu, along with an extensive cocktail list. Menu standouts include the Choux Bruxelles, Charcuterie et Fromage, and the classic Steak-Frites—though truly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
On the cocktail side, favorites include the Espresso Martini, the Green Fairy, and La Séduction.
Felix Cocktails et Cuisine is open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., lunch daily from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and dinner every evening from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. They also offer a petit menu daily from 3 to 5 p.m. and again from 10 p.m. to midnight.
La Cave
If you’re a fan of Felix, be sure to check out their sister restaurant,
La Cave, which opened in fall 2024, offering a South of France–inspired atmosphere with refined small plates, rare spirits, and an extensive French wine list. Designed for relaxed sipping, conversation, and shared bites just next door to Félix.
