Handsome Properties 7th Annual Oyster Roast

Last Sunday, we came together for our annual Handsome Properties Oyster Roast at the breathtaking Founders Hall at Charles Towne Landing. With perfect weather and an array of mouthwatering culinary delights, the day was nothing short of extraordinary. We are truly thankful to all our guests and Sponsors who helped make this event an unforgettable experience.

The heart of the celebration was the incredible chef Jamie Westendorff and his team from Charleston Outdoor Catering. They served up perfectly steamed oysters that captured the true essence of Lowcountry flavor. Nonetheless, the feast didn’t end there—guests were treated to a mouthwatering buffet of Southern favorites. The main spread featured a show-stopping Lowcountry Boil with Frogmore Stew that had everyone coming back for seconds.

Additionally, a sweet shoutout to Bobby Medlin for sponsoring the delicious King of Pops ice cream! It was the perfect way to cool off and satisfy our sweet tooth on a beautiful South Carolina day. Meanwhile, the party vibes were in full swing thanks to Fo Daniels and his band. Their energetic tunes filled Founders Hall, keeping everyone’s spirits high.

For the little ones, the kids’ area was a hit with bubble machines, beach balls, hula hoops, coloring sheets, and cornhole—fun for all ages! Additionally, we are beyond grateful to Etu Home for donating an incredible raffle prize, adding a dash of excitement to the day.

Staying true to our community spirit, we teamed up with Pet Helpers Charleston to host an adoption event. Moreover, it opened doors for opportunities to give our furry friends a chance at a loving home. Guests had the heartwarming cute meet with adorable pets and maybe even find their newest family member.
