Charleston Wine + Food is one of South Carolina Lowcountry’s most anticipated annual festival, putting Charleston on the map as a culinary destination celebrating wine + food and all its makers. This year, the festival returns for the first time since 2020 at the Riverfront Park in North Charleston.
The five-day festival runs March 2nd-6th, showcasing diverse food, drink, and culture through workshops, music, demos, and group discussions. Join top chefs, winemakers, storytellers, and artisans from around the globe as the food enthusiasts bring international attention to the Holy City.
Charleston Wine + Food’s mission is to “celebrate, educate, enrich, and promote the Lowcountry’s diverse culinary + hospitality community through world-class experiences”.

The theme this year is, “2022Together”, something Handsome Properties can proudly stand behind. 2022Togetherness is all about human connection and bringing together all through the creative freedom of ingredients and recipes with a 5 day festival of celebration.

A diverse and passionate group of chefs, farmers, beverage professionals, artists, and industry experts will be in attendance. A full list of participants can be found here!
Surf + Turf – Thursday, March 3, 4:00pm-6:30pm – Prepare you to enjoy surf + turf as expressed by top chefs at a beautiful location off Folly Road, Bowen Island. Indulge in fresh seafood and drink as you watch the beautiful sunset.
A Punch Paradise – Friday, March 1st – 2:00pm-4:30pm – The Caribbean is a giant melting pot of flavors; with influence coming from India, Africa, Asia, and Europe, this world cuisine stands on its own. Gather on the beach as the tide rolls in for this island-inspired party.
Top bartenders will be spiking the punch recipe or concocting cocktails, paying homage to the classics like Planters Punch which celebrates Charleston’s shared West Indian and Carolina cultures. A crew of chefs with deep Caribbean roots will dish up top-notch fare featuring bold, fresh, and flavorful profiles straight from the islands. Set to the backdrop of reggae music this party is sure to pack a punch.
A Natty Pizza Party – Friday, March 4, 7:00pm-9:30 pm – Unlock the secrets of which natural wines go best with your favorite pizza pie. Fuel up on wine + pizza before busting a move on the dance floor!
NightCap – Friday, March 1st & Saturday, March 5th – On Friday night, headliner Lake Street Dive is bringing its acclaimed sound influenced by pop, rock, R&B, and jazz into one energetic, cohesive show. On Saturday, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, the Southern soul phenoms out of Birmingham, AL will co-headline the show along with Grammy-nominated Tank and the Bangas and their New Orleans rock-R&B-soul vibe!
Cocktail Queens – Saturday, March 5th, 4:00pm-6:30pm at The Wonderer- A fabulous afternoon hosted by a posse of drag queens! A celebration of the LGBTQIA+ contribution to Charleston’s hospitality community.
Barista Blends Workshop with Pamela Wiznitzer – Thursday, March 3, 11:00am-12:15pm – Learn about the origins of coffee, its health benefits, and the importance of selecting the perfect coffee to create your desired blend of coffee + spirit.
Breakfast of Champions – Thursday, March 3, 11:00am-12:15pm – Explore terroirs and learn the roles each varietal plays in the diversity of the Champagne region.
Flick at Nite – Thursday, March 3, 5:30 pm – 8:30pm – Relax under the stars at Hampton Park for the third-year festival favorite cinematic event including a showing of The Hundred-Foot Journey. BYOB and blankets. Food trucks are on-site!
Hip Hops Day Party – Saturday, March 5, 12:00pm-2:30 pm -A tribute top to the ‘80s and ‘90s hip hop + graffiti culture. Enjoy yummy bites, beats, and fun!
The Roots of Rice – Saturday, March 5, 7:00pm-9:30 pm – Enjoy a family-style dinner, where chefs will come together to create a meal that pays homage to each of their stories and explores how food and specifically rice, can bridge the gap between cultures.
The FINALE – Sunday, March 6, 6:00pm-8:30pm – Close the 5-day festival with a toast to 2022 and the togetherness it has brought within the community. Good food, wine, and music to send it off.
The CV Day Pass is available for purchase on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. The day pass is your ticket to the respective day of The Lawn @ Culinary Village. The package includes a custom badge, festival lanyard, and commemorative glassware. As well as an expedited entrance to The Lawn during the festival weekend. Access to select badge holder-only spaces within the Culinary Village is available as well!
THE CV WEEKEND PASS is your ticket to all three days of The Lawn + two additional nighttime experiences and a festival favorites event to wrap it all up! The nighttime experiences include NightCap Friday, a waterfront concert experience headlined by Lake Street Dive.
NightCap Saturday, Grammy-nominated Tank, and The Bangas will open with their NewOrleans Rock/R&B/Soul music before handing the mic to St. Paul & The Broken Bones, the Southern soul phenoms from Birmingham, AL. The festival favorite culinary battle is also included in this pass coined “Waffle House Smackdown”.
All ticket sales funnel directly to the event production and have a direct impact on the city’s economy.
The Culinary Village is divided into The Lawn, The Pavilion, and The NightCap
The Lawn: The Lawn @ CulinaryVillage is the way to fully immerse yourself into the Wine + Food experience. An all-inclusive daily ticket grants access to four hours of sipping, sampling, chef demos, interactive experiences, live music, and more. Within The Lawn, you’ll find “neighborhoods” of foods, beverages, experiences, and artisan markets.
The Pavilion: The Pavilion @ CulinaryVillage is a new addition this year which will be accessible without a ticket. A wide variety of cuisine in the food truck’s food court will be available for a bite + beverage.
The Nightcap: The NightCap @CulinaryVillage is the largest music + food pairing Charleston Food + Wine has seen thus far. Have a nightcap and enjoy the first-ever outdoor concert under the stars featuring Lake Street Dive, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, and Tank and the Bangas.
