It is an affluent island town of approximately 11,000 residents. Located 25 minutes northeast of
Charleston, this master-planned community is bordered by the Wando River to the east and the Cooper River to the west.

In addition, there is a private Roman Catholic high school serving the children of Daniel Island, South Carolina.
